1.1. These Terms of Use (along with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy) constitute the terms and conditions of use of the website http://generationag.org (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").

1.2. The Website is exclusively intended for users over the age of eighteen (18). Merely accessing and using the Website constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of the Terms of Use. It is thus presumed that you have carefully read, understood, and accepted the Terms of Use as well as the adherence to Greek and European legislation.

The Website is operated by Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey (located at 57 US Highway 1, New Brunswick, NJ 08901-8554), with its establishment in Greece located at 2 Ioanni Kranidioti Street, Lambda Building, Postal Code 57001, Thermi, Thessaloniki, Greece (hereinafter referred to as "the University" or "we").

2.1. Access to the Website is permitted throughout the week and throughout the day, except during periods when access to the Website is suspended due to maintenance, upgrades, interruption of electronic communication, or other related reasons. The University bears no responsibility if, for any reason, the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

2.2. The University aims to update the Website regularly and may change its content at any time. If necessary, the University may suspend access to the Website or discontinue it indefinitely. The University has no obligation to update material on the Website that may be out of date at a given time.

2.3. You are responsible for making all necessary arrangements to have access to our Website. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms of Use and comply with them.

3. RESTRICTION OF ACCESS

3.1. We have the right to prohibit and/or discontinue the transmission of the Website (or the operation of certain services thereof) to any user in cases where we reasonably believe that such access may endanger us and/or the user or another third party, as well as when the user has violated the Terms of Use and/or the law.

4. WEBSITE CONTENT - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

4.1. The Website and its content, including but not limited to, trademarks and service marks of the University, trade name, domain name, source code, software, offered services, photographs, images, graphics, texts, illustrations, sound files and/or images, audiovisual files, interactive applications, data, metadata, databases (hereinafter referred to as the "Content"), are the exclusive property of the University or third parties cooperating with the University and are protected by the relevant intellectual and industrial property laws of Greek and European law and international conventions and treaties.

4.2. The Content may be temporarily copied to the memory of a personal computer for the purpose of simple reading. It is expressly prohibited for the Content to be transferred, sold, assigned, leased (with or without consideration), commercially exploited, copied, modified, reproduced, retransmitted, transmitted, distributed, sold, or downloaded (download) in any way or means by Users and/or any third party. These actions are indicative and not restrictive.

4.3. The above prohibition excludes the case of storing a single copy of a part of the Content of the Website on a simple personal computer for strictly personal, private, non-public (with or without consideration) and non-commercial use, without deleting or altering the indication of origin, and without infringing on the intellectual or industrial property rights of the University or third parties.

4.4. The ability to access and use the software associated with the Website (hereinafter referred to as the "Software") does not constitute a right of the User over the Software. Users must refrain from any act of reproduction, modification, translation, or general infringement of the Software and its content by Users or third parties in any way or means.

4.5. The University hereby grants Users a non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable, and freely revocable license to use the Software, which will last only as long as necessary for the use of the Website in accordance with the Terms of Use.

4.6. Users are required to compensate for any positive or consequential damages to the University due to violation of its rights and/or third parties' rights or improper or illegal use of the Website.

5. USERS' OBLIGATIONS

5.1. Users expressly accept, agree, and concur that the general use of the Website's services by them a) does not in any way infringe on the personality of third parties and does not constitute an indirect or direct threat to any other User or third party, b) does not contradict the law, good morals, and transactional ethics, c) does not in any way violate the privacy, personal data, individual and social rights of Users or third parties, d) does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party, and e) does not mislead or harm the University or any third party, User or not, by knowingly promoting false, misleading, or incorrect information or otherwise. If the above-mentioned occurs, the University explicitly reserves the right to exercise all its legal rights.

5.2. Users are prohibited from installing and promoting, by any means, any form of unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or unsolicited electronic messages (spam), chain letters, pyramid schemes, and any other form of unsolicited promotion of content as well as installing and promoting advertisements without the written consent of the University.

5.3. Users are prohibited from installing, promoting, or making available content that contains digital viruses or any other electronic code, files, or programs designed to interfere with, destroy, limit, or affect in any way the operation of any software or other service of the Website or to hinder other Users from using the Website and any other service connected to it.

6. LINKS/RELATIONS WITH THIRD PARTIES

6.1. The Website may include links to other websites which are the responsibility of third parties, natural or legal persons. The University does not control the availability, content, privacy policy, quality, and completeness of the services of third-party websites, as well as services or stores to which it may refer via links, hyperlinks, and other actions.

6.2. Therefore, for any problem encountered during the visit or use of third-party websites or services, Users acknowledge that they must directly contact the respective websites, pages, service providers, or stores which bear full responsibility for providing their services.

6.3. In no case should it be considered that the University endorses or accepts the content or services of the websites or stores or services to which it may refer, or that it is connected with all the above in any way, such as by mandate, project, employment, representation, etc.

8. PROTECTION OF MINORS

8.1. The Website is strictly addressed to Users over the age of eighteen (18). Users who declared a false date of birth and their parents/guardians/persons exercising parental care are liable to the University for any damage the University may suffer from their false declaration.

The distribution/exposure or circulation of child pornography material in any way, as well as the seduction of minors in any way, constitute criminal offenses and are prosecuted according to the law. In the case of posting such material by a User on the Website, the University will immediately terminate the User's access to the services of the Website, report the incident to the competent Authorities, reserving all other legal rights.

9.1. USERS AGREE THAT THE USE OF THE WEBSITE IS EXCLUSIVELY AT THEIR OWN RISK. 10. APPLICABLE LAW

Any provision of the aforementioned terms that becomes contrary to the Law shall automatically cease to be valid, without in any way affecting the validity of the remaining terms.

10.2. Any dispute that concerns or arises from the application of these terms and the general use of the website http://generationag.org by them, if not resolved amicably, falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens.
