AgroAnelixi - Farmers of the Future

The "AgroAnelixi - Farmers of the Future" agrifood business accelerator is being implemented for the 5th consecutive year by the organization New Agriculture New Generation. The program is aimed at cooperatives, processing units and businesses, producer groups, farmers, livestock farmers, beekeepers, and home-based businesses that process or wish to process their production to create new differentiated products or further develop products they already produce. Applications for participation can be submitted until Sunday, June 2.

In the 6-month acceleration program, a total of 15 businesses will be selected to participate, of which 5 will come from the Municipality of Servia, 4 from the Region of Crete, and the remaining 6 from all over Greece.

The selected businesses will participate in educational workshops, where they will receive practical business knowledge, insights, and guidance for creating new differentiated products, as well as personalized consulting support from experienced market professionals, based on their specific needs, without any financial burden.

To date, through the program, 69 agri-food businesses from all over Greece have been supported. In addition to business training, guidance, and personalized consulting services, the businesses have received a total of 250,000 euros in financial support for the development of new services and products. Over 70 new food products have been developed and are currently on the market with the contribution of the program.

The AgroAnelixi accelerator is implemented by the organization New Agriculture New Generation through the founding donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). The sponsor of the participants from the Region of Crete is Attica Bank, while the sponsor of the participants from the Municipality of Servia is the Municipality of Servia.

The company Letrina S.A. is the sponsor of on-site visits, the American Farm School & Perrotis College are sponsors of soil and food chemical analyses, and the Specialist Awards are sponsors of free participation in taste awards.

The program supports agri-food businesses aiming to shape a new entrepreneurial mindset in the sector and develop new differentiated food products through sustainable business efforts.
